Growing up in the late 80s and 90s, I remember Choose Your Own Adventure books flying off the shelves in our school library. I loved these books, but was always stuck waiting for returns so I could nab one. I shouldn’t have worried, though, because there was plenty to go around. There are 184 books in the original series, and many are still enjoyed by young readers today. Best of all, the series inspired a wealth of spin-offs, and we’ve selected our favorites to share today. From picture books for the youngest readers to clever YA choices for teens, these interactive books build confidence, inspire creativity, sharpen critical thinking skills, and are just plain fun to read!
